Fly to Rome

AIRPORT CODE: FCO

Plan to fly into Rome and take a car, local transport or shuttle to the Vatican area. We recommend to arrive in Italy by Thursday May 9, 2024 if possible, this way you have recovered from jetlag and in case of any flight delays, you are able to make it to the wedding events starting on Friday.

The major international airport in Rome is known officially in Italian as Aeroporto Internazionale di Roma–Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci”.

This is sometimes shortened to Rome Fiumicino Airport or Leonardo da Vinci Airport.

By Airport Shuttle

Rome is walkable, albeit very large. If you just need transportation to and from the airport and the train is not your preference, then an airport shuttle is a great option.
